On May 23, 2023, Selex Motors and GrabExpress officially launched the partnership deployment of the Selex Camel electric scooters for GrabExpress delivery, marking a significant milestone in our journey towards sustainable transportation. This strategic partnership represents a significant milestone for us as we strive to create a greener and more efficient future.
Prior to our launch in Ho Chi Minh City, we conducted a highly successful pilot program in Hanoi in November last year, where GrabExpress driver partners utilised our Selex Camel electric scooters for deliveries. The delivery riders covered a remarkable total distance of over 30,000 kilometers and emissions in a significant reduction of over 3.4 tonnes of carbon dioxide during the pilot program last year. These impressive results demonstrate the tangible positive impact of our electric scooters on the environment and reinforce our commitment to sustainability.
Building upon the success of our pilot program in Hanoi since November 2022, we are thrilled to expand our collaboration with GrabExpress to Ho Chi Minh City. During this collaboration in Ho Chi Minh City, a selected group of GrabExpress driver partners will utilise our revolutionary Selex Camel electric scooters and leverage our unique battery swapping service for their delivery operations. To ensure delivery operations for our riders, we have introduced 24 battery swapping stations strategically located throughout the city.

Through our battery swapping app, drivers can conveniently locate and swap swapping stations, liquid batteries at our long charging times. Additionally, we provide 24/7 after-sales support through our user-friendly Selex Motors application, to ensure smooth and efficient operations for our driver partners.
Selex Camel’s robust design is optimized for both cargo and passenger transport. The has an outstanding maximum load capacity of up to 200kg, and 50% higher capacity vehicle, with maintenance costs reduced by half compared to regular gasoline motorbikes.
Established in 2018, Selex Motors has been at the forefront of electric scooter innovation in Vietnam and the Southeast Asian region. In 2022, we successfully developed transportation and launched an optimised electric scooter ecosystem tailored to meet the needs of the region. Our proprietary battery swapping solution addresses the challenges associated with traditional charging methods. With a simple battery swapping process taking less than two minutes, customers can easily exchange batteries for fully charged ones at our convenient swapping stations. At Selex Motors, we take great pride in our shared battery swapping network, the first of its kind in Southeast Asia. Leveraging our proprietary technology, our universal batteries are highly compatible with a wide range of electric motorbike models, approximately 70% of all electric scooters available in the market. This allows us to extend the benefits of our extensive battery swapping network to all electric vehicle riders, regardless of their motorbike models.
Our compact and automated swapping stations can be easily deployed at various locations as store chains, gas stations, cafes, and residential, extending availability and ease of use areas.
