Following the official launch of VGX together with Petrolimex and Xuan Cau Holdings, Selex Motors continues to mark another milestone as VGX enters into a strategic partnership with YADEA — one of the leading electric vehicle brands in the market.
Hanoi, May 27, 2026 – Vietnam Green Energy Infrastructure Joint Stock Company (VGX) and YADEA Vietnam Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd. (YADEA) officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement to accelerate the development of a shared battery-swapping infrastructure for electric motorcycles in Vietnam, with the goal of building an open energy ecosystem for electric mobility.
Under the agreement, both parties will collaborate on the research, development, and conversion of YADEA electric motorcycle models to battery-swapping technology, while integrating them into the shared battery-swapping infrastructure developed by VGX in Vietnam.
The partnership between VGX and YADEA is expected to contribute to accelerating green mobility transformation in Vietnam while opening up a new approach to optimizing energy infrastructure for electric vehicles through a shared infrastructure model.
As Vietnam’s electric vehicle market continues to grow rapidly, the demand for a convenient, flexible, and scalable energy ecosystem is becoming increasingly urgent. Battery swapping is considered a practical solution that significantly reduces charging time, improves operational efficiency, and enhances the overall user experience for electric vehicle riders.
Through this partnership, VGX and YADEA share a common vision of developing an open energy ecosystem, where multiple electric vehicle brands can connect to and benefit from shared infrastructure. This model helps optimize social resources while accelerating the adoption of green transportation across Vietnam.
