Selex updates the “Pre-book a battery” feature for customers to exchange batteries at the station

The “Pre-Order Battery” feature of Selex Motors helps users to actively plan and schedule battery swaps on the application, saving time when arriving at the battery swap station.

1. What is the “Pre-Order Battery” feature?

The “Pre-Order Battery” feature allows users to easily plan and schedule battery swaps for their electric motorcycles remotely through the mobile application. Users can pre-order one or multiple fully charged batteries at Selex Motors’ battery swap stations.

The “Pre-Order Battery” feature will reserve the battery for the customer for 30 minutes. If the customer fails to swap the battery within 30 minutes, the battery will be displayed again as “available” and can be swapped or pre-ordered by other customers.

The “Pre-book a battery” feature helps users save time and avoid the situation where they arrive at the station to exchange batteries but there are no available batteries.

2. Benefits of the “Pre-Order Battery” feature

  • Time-saving: By pre-ordering a battery, customers will not have to worry about the station running out of batteries. The battery will be prepared and ready when they arrive at the swap station, reducing waiting time.
  • Convenience: The Selex Motors application will display nearby battery swap stations and their availability. Customers can choose a station that fits their route and pre-order a battery.
  • Safety and stability: Batteries are maintained and fully charged at Selex Motors’ stations, ensuring high-quality batteries that provide safety and stability during use.

3. How to use the “Pre-Order Battery” feature

  • Step 1: Open the Selex Motors application on your phone.
  • Step 2: Tap on the “Map” section to find the nearest battery swap station. 
  • Step 3: Find a convenient station that fits your schedule. 
  • Step 4: Tap “Pre-Order Battery”, select the number of batteries (1-2-3) and confirm.

4. Some notes when using the “Pre-book a battery” feature

  • The “Pre-book a battery” feature will reserve the battery for the customer for 15 minutes. If the customer does not arrive to exchange the battery within 15 minutes, the system will automatically cancel the pre-booking. Therefore, customers need to consider the time and travel schedule to book a battery.
  • The “Pre-book a battery” feature only operates during peak hours from 7:00 to 17:00. At other times, there is always a sufficient supply of batteries available for customers due to low demand.
  • Customers can pre-book batteries multiple times a day.
  • The number of pre-booked batteries must not exceed the number of batteries in the package the customer is using. For example, if a customer is using a 2-battery package, they can only pre-book 1 or 2 batteries. They cannot pre-book 3 batteries.
  • When there is no need to exchange batteries, customers should cancel their pre-booking to avoid affecting the operation of the station.

Register to test drive Selex electric scooter

With a new scooter, customers will receive warranty coverage and replacement of parts according to the manufacturer’s policy, if the warranty period is still valid. The standard warranty period for Selex Motors’ electric scooters and batteries is 30,000 km from the retail sale date to the customer or 3 years from the wholesale invoice date to the authorized dealer, whichever comes first.

Selex’s electric scooters come with a charger that you can use to charge the battery at home, but the battery is not included. You can purchase or rent a battery separately.

You will receive the product within approximately 2 weeks from the date of placing the order, but the actual delivery time may vary depending on demand.

The installment payment policy is being prepared and will be applied as soon as possible.

The electric motorcycles from Selex will be serviced every 6 months (5000km) per time.

Step 1: Log in to your account with your username and password
Step 2: In the navigation bar, select Selex Station
Step 3: View the map. At your current location, the map will show the nearby stations. Alternatively, you can view the station system in other districts.

Yes, you can contact Selex to change your service package for battery swapping while renting the battery.

1. Just replace the battery at Selex’s replacement station, and it only takes you 2 minutes to fully charge your electric scooter.
