On October 9, 2024, Selex Motors had the honor of hosting a delegation of high-level energy transition envoys from the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom (UK), accompanied by the UK Ambassador’s Representative. This significant event marks a milestone in Selex Motors’ journey, recognizing the company’s efforts in developing green technology and promoting energy transition in Vietnam.

During the visit, the delegation directly observed the production process of Selex Motors’ electric motorcycles and batteries, and learned about the unique battery swapping station system – a solution that optimizes energy infrastructure for electric vehicles and promotes the electrification of transportation in Vietnam and the region.

The delegation representatives highly praised Selex Motors’ efforts and initiatives in developing environmentally friendly products, contributing to the Net Zero goal that Vietnam and countries around the world are striving for.

At the meeting, CEO of Selex Motors, Mr. Nguyen Huu Phuoc Nguyen, stated: “We are honored to continuously receive attention from international partners. We believe that Selex Motors’ efforts in building an electric vehicle ecosystem and battery swapping stations not only promote energy transition but also play a crucial role in protecting the environment and achieving Vietnam’s and the world’s Net Zero goal.”

Selex Motors is not only developing electric motorcycles but also mastering battery technology – a crucial element in the renewable energy ecosystem. With 10 patents and a domestic production rate of up to 80%, Selex Motors aims to become the “Hyundai of Vietnam” in the field of green transportation.

In 2023 and 2024, the electric vehicle company has had the privilege of hosting the US Secretary of the Treasury, the President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and many other international delegations.
