Selex Motors has marked a significant milestone in the global fight against climate change by becoming the first two-wheeler electric vehicle company worldwide to successfully register Gold Standard carbon credits. This achievement not only solidifies Selex’s position as a pioneer in sustainable transportation but also opens up new avenues for Vietnam’s electric vehicle market.

On December 3rd, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) hosted a workshop to conclude the project “Developing Pilot Carbon Credit Projects in the Transport Sector.” The event brought together representatives from government agencies, organizations, and businesses involved in the carbon credit market in the transportation sector.

In collaboration with UNDP, Selex Motors has successfully developed the first carbon credit project for electric motorcycles in Vietnam. This project has undergone rigorous international assessment and has been successfully submitted to the Gold Standard Registry. The Gold Standard certification is a testament to the project’s high quality and transparency, as it is one of the most stringent carbon credit standards globally.
