According to the agreement, the two sides will cooperate long-term in many areas, including product development, battery and energy service supply, battery-swapping network investment, product and service distribution, and customer after-sales support.
In the first phase, Selex Motors will assist Dong Minh Group in researching and converting its key models — Melody Eco, Bull, and Sasuki Eco (008) — to use smart swappable batteries and fixed batteries. Starting from 2026, the production volume is expected to reach tens of thousands of vehicles per year, distributed through Dong Minh’s nationwide dealership network.
Selex will also manufacture and supply fixed batteries, as well as provide battery-swapping and home-charging rental services for Dong Minh’s dealer network and customers. The existing Dong Minh electric scooters will be converted to use swappable batteries and integrated into the shared swapping network, allowing Dong Minh customers to conveniently exchange batteries at stations. This helps reduce the initial vehicle cost and make it easier for users to switch from gasoline to electric vehicles.
Both parties have agreed to jointly provide comprehensive after-sales services related to both vehicles and batteries to ensure the best user experience. They will also co-develop smart battery and vehicle management solutions, aiming toward a fully connected mobility ecosystem.
